Opening Reception: Friday, Dec. 6, 6-8pm
Fabienne Delacroix, the internationally acclaimed artist renowned for her ability to evoke the timeless charm and romanticized essence of Belle Époque, brings her highly sought after work to Raleigh for five weeks. This highly anticipated showcase will feature twenty-two paintings recently completed in her Paris studio. Watch the video below to see Fabienne Delacroix in her studio.
Following in the footsteps of her world-renowned father, Michel Delacroix, Fabienne paints in a naïve style that draws on the nostalgia of times past. The Parisian cityscapes featured in this show will serve as poetic windows to this legendary era, when France was enjoying a period of peace, leisure, and a thriving culture. Fabienne Delacroix offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty, style, and elegance of Paris and its environs – right here in Raleigh.
The Raleigh exhibit “Le Paris de la Belle Époque” comes on the heels of Fabienne Delacroix’s sold-out exhibitions in Tokyo and South Korea. Of special interest will be several paintings that were chosen by the Eiffel family for publication of a book celebrating the anniversary of the Eiffel Tower.
