Davis Choun is an artist and designer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Davis is originally from rural western North Carolina but moved to Raleigh in 2010 to attend NC State College of Design. After graduating in 2015, he was awarded the Emerging Artist Residency at Artspace NC, a six-month studio residency. Upon completion of his residency, Davis was invited to become a full studio member. Davis Choun worked in this creative think-tank environment with his peers through mid-2022. Davis Choun’s work has been supported by various galleries and non-profit institutions around North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.  Davis Choun challenges creative conventions with his unusual assemblage technique.  Davis Choun continues to create in his home studio in Raleigh.
